A Mileage Blocker is a device that can stop the recording of mileage on your vehicle. This is useful if you want to stop counting unnecessary mileage while testing your car.
What is Can Bus? I hear you say.
The Controller Area Network (CAN Bus) is a messaging-based protocol system that allows the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to communicate with all the different modules in your car. Our mileage blockers work by intercepting the CAN Bus signal that is sent to the speedometer, and then blocking the mileage data from being recorded. This means that the speedometer will continue to work normally, but the mileage will not be recorded.
How do I install the Mileage Blocker?
Our mileage blockers are Generally installed behind the speedometer. They come with simple DIY instructions for installation, and do not require any advanced technical skills. We also offer a free video call option to assist you with fitting.
Are Mileage Blockers untraceable?
Yes, our mileage blockers are 100% untraceable to humans and diagnostic equipment. None of the information is stored in any of the vehicle’s control modules, so even with dealer diagnostic tools, it is impossible to trace the mileage that has been blocked during the use of the module.
Removal of the Mileage Blocker
Our mileage blockers can be easily removed, and there will be no mileage jump when they are removed. This makes them completely untraceable. We also offer a free video call option to assist you with removal.
What are the Mileage Blockers made of?
We use only premium-quality components in our mileage blockers. This ensures that they are reliable and will not damage your vehicle’s ECU systems. You will find cheaper modules on the market, but they are not of the same quality, and they can damage your vehicle. Beware of cheap modules as upon removal Mileage will jump up to where it should be.
What’s the difference between Mileage Blockers and mileage correction?
Mileage blockers are far superior to mileage correction devices. Mileage correction devices simply change the mileage reading in the vehicle’s computer, but the actual mileage is still being recorded. This means that if the vehicle is ever taken to a dealer for service, the true mileage will be revealed. Mileage blockers, on the other hand, stop the mileage from being recorded altogether, so there is no way to tell how many miles the vehicle has actually been driven.
Are Mileage Blockers illegal?
The installation and use of mileage blockers is completely legal in most countries, including the UK, the US, and most European countries. However, it is illegal to deceive potential buyers of your used vehicle by selling them a car with a lower mileage than it actually has. Therefore, you can install a mileage blocker to test the performance of your vehicle in a controlled environment, but you should not use it for fraudulent purposes.
